What UI/UX Design is not?
It is not a skill you should pick out of boredom. You must be willing to put in the work and time for learning until you see tangible improvements in your skills and approach to tasks.
It is not the same as graphic design. While graphic designers focus on creating visual elements, Product Designers enhance the interaction between a user and a product.
Your first concern should not be about having too many projects in your portfolio. You just need a few that solve real business problems, and you can build on that.

Introduction to Product Design
You will learn the distinction between UI and UX, and all you need to excel in the course

Module 1 - UX Design Principles
You’ll learn the core principles of UX design and how to interpret users’ needs correctly. We will also teach you how to understand the principles of usability, hierarchy, consistency, repetition, accessibility, context, balance and white space. UX design process framework, among others.

Module 2 - Getting to know Figma
Figma is a dynamic tool that makes it easy to create websites and applications. You will get acquiesced with the Figma interface, after which you will learn the step by step process of using Figma to create designs

Module 3 - Real Project Description + User Persona
You will learn how to create and interpret a project brief, after which you will be taught how to create a user persona

Module 4 - Product Architecture Design
You will learn how to disaggregate your products' functional elements and physical components. Simply put, you will learn in-depth about information architecture and userflows

Module 5 - Wireframing
You will learn wireframing techniques, wireframing desktop prototypes and wireframing mobile prototypes.

Module 6 -Personal Projects
You will get the chance to work on projects to test your ability and understanding of previous modules.

Module 7 - UI Design Principles
Here you’ll learn about Typography, Colors, Icons, Spacing, Shadows, Illustrations and photos, Buttons, Forms/Inputs and Navigation.

Module 8 - High-Fidelity Prototyping
A perfect time to learn about Design systems + Figma styles, High-fidelity prototyping desktop, High-fidelity prototyping mobile, Interactive prototypes and Realistic mockups

Module 9 - Testing prototype
This is the stage where you learn about Usability testing introduction snf Usability testing in practice + SUS surveys.

I am a creative designer with first-hand expertise in UI/UX design. I have expert skill sets in UI design, UX design and strategy, Prototyping, Product design and branding. I am passionate about creating digital solutions that improve the quality of life.
I have worked across several industries like Fintechs, Social & Legal Aid Platforms, Construction firms, Environmental Management, Academic Institutions, and Business enterprises where I interfaced with Engineers, Business Experts, Entrepreneurs, Social Health experts, and collaborated with fellow designers and software developers to create web and mobile app solutions, branding, and product & concept presentations.
Having worked in tech industries in Nigeria like Credpal, Herlabytes, Techgrata, I have also had the opportunity to work remotely in international companies like Leda Health, Second Company and Moduscreate.
I currently work as a contract Product Designer with Toptal.
